Bret Anderson, Ph.D., CCSP, OWDS, AFC
Bret Anderson, Ph.D. is the President of h2 Communication, LLC® (h2C) a Veteran Owned Small Business Job Readiness Training and Executive Coaching and Frontline Leadership Development company.
Dr. Anderson earned his Ph.D. in Psychology from Northcentral University as well as a Master’s & Bachelor’s Degree in Communication, both from the University of Colorado Denver.
Raised in Denver CO, Dr. Anderson began a prosperous career serving his country after enlisting in the U.S. Army in 1982. During his career as a psychologist and business owner Dr. Anderson has worked with major hospitals in California and several companies in the Denver metro area to help build C-Suite executives and staff employees leadership skills, personal financial acumen, and career development evolution with an emphasis on employment retention.
Additionally, Dr. Anderson holds the following certifications/credentials:
- Career Services Professional – Instructor (NCDA)
- Accredited Financial Counselor (AFCPE)
- Offender Employment Retention Specialist (NIC)
- Offender Workforce Development Specialist (NIC)
- True Colors Certified Facilitator (True Colors International)
- Situational Leadership II Certified Facilitator (Blanchard Institute)
Since 2018, Dr. Anderson has designed, developed, and facilitated a number of leadership, veteran related, and other national programs including the updated Offender Workforce Development Specialist program, which is designed to increase career development skill sets for a variety of correctional education, community corrections, prison staff, and jail personnel assisting in the transition from justice involvement to productive citizenship for Justice Involved Citizens. Furthermore, Dr. Anderson has a patten for an employer-fit algorithm designed to assist companies with the impending major culture shift that is scheduled to occur in the next 5-10 years.
Dr. Anderson is a sports enthusiast who lives in beautiful Morrison, CO with his wife of 30 years, four children and two grandchildren.
